Medicine is a wide profession with a minefield of specialties to choose from. For young people considering to study medicine, we believe an informed decision is crucial. Medicine is a call and there are hurdles to navigate during the course of training and after qualification. Opportunity Foundation seeks to support these aspirants through the process.
We will facilitate the arrangement of electives in the UK and abroad and clinical attachments. We will offer advice on specific queries. We will offer mentoring to prospective opportunity seekers, and much more depending on identified needs.
We aim to link medical opportunity seekers with opportunity providers who are best placed to offer tailored advice and practical help for education, professional development and career advancement.
Our target population: Prospective medical students, medical students and graduates, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK and abroad.
