Morlai is the managing Director at Moracle, an accounting and audit practice based in North London specialising in providing management and business support to the not-for-profit sector. He trained with a three-partner practice in Middlesex where he qualified as a chartered certified accountant and rose to audit manager before the firm merged with haysmacintyre, a central London-based mid tier audit firm. In 2008, Morlai left haysmacintyre to set up Moracle.
Morlai’s expertise includes providing advisory services on such areas as mergers and acquisitions, governance and strategic planning. Alongside this, he also advises on charity senior management remuneration, risk management, trustee training and restructuring of finance functions.
Morlai’s passion for helping ACCA candidates is displayed in Moracle being an approved training employer. He has particularly focused his outreach to minority communities and new arrivals to the UK. In addition, Morlai is the founder of a ‘back-to-work’ training programme – the ‘Moracle Foundation’. This is geared towards providing accounting students and graduates with hands-on experience by involving them in projects delivered to commercial and charitable entities so that they become more employable.
Morlai believes that as an organisation, it is important to give back to society. The opportunity to encourage our clients to join us and help bring individuals back into employment.
